The DMP brand was founded by brothers Alexander van der Post & Leon van der Post during a plane trip back from the current DMP supplier. Their vision was to make affordable, high-quality products for scooters/mopeds in Europe. And that is exactly what they have achieved since 1997. 

The Power1 brand was founded by Creco B.V. who developed and introduced these products into the European market. In 2021, the wholesaler Creco B.V. merged with Pe-Pe Parts B.V.
